Clarkstown Police Cite 162 Motorists in Seat Belt Enforcement Effort

NEW CITY – Clarkstown police officers taking part in the national “Click It or Ticket” crackdown on driver’s who don’t use seat belts issued 162 tickets as a result of the special enforcement effort. Town police took part in the stepped up enforcement from May 19 to June 1, looking for motorists not using seat belts, which are required by law.Throughout New York, New York State Police were also actively participating in the Click It or Ticket effort.
