Described by Borderline Folk Music Club as the hottest band on the bluegrass/folk music circuit today, performing fabulous instrumentals and sweet harmonic vocals, Jeff Scroggings and Colorado From Denver will be at Borderline’s annual Bluegrass Concert Sunday, June 22, 2 p.m. at the New City Ambulance Corps building on Congers Road.
With creative songwriting and well-plucked instruments, the group will be featured as a showcase at the annual International Bluegrass Music Associations gathering at Charlotte, North Carolina in September. Jeff Scroggins is a banjo virtuoso and won the national championship in Kansas in 1989.
Opening the show will be Mara Levine whose “Jewels and Harmony” album was number 1 on the folk charts in January. Tickets and information at 845-354-4586 or solz1@optonline.net.
