CRIMES 6/10/14

CLARKSTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT:

Fiallos, VFiallos-CoronelGRAND LARCENY & CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
On June 5, 2014 at approximately 9 p.m., the Clarkstown Police Department responded to Macyโ€™s located at the Palisades Mall for a report of shoplifting. Vanessa Fiallos, 35 and Maria Fiallos-Coronel, 26, both from the Bronx, were reportedly observed by loss prevention taking merchandise valued at $1,610 from display racks and exiting the store without paying for the merchandise. Both suspects were placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters.ย  They were arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court.ย  Bail for Vanessa Fiallos was set at $7,500 and bail for Maria Fiallos-Coronel was set at $3,000. They are both due to return to court on June 11, 2014 to answer the charge of grand larceny in the fourth degree(felony) and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree (felony).

DWI
On Thursday June 5, 2014 at approximately 8:55 p.m., the Clarkstown Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Rt. 59 in front of the Rockland Center in Nanuet. The driver, William Sullivan, 60, of West Nyack was interviewed and appeared to be intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported to Clarkstown Police Headquarters where he submitted to a breathalyzer test, which he failed.ย  He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor) and driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor). Sullivan was released on an appearance and will return to court on July 2, 2014.

STONY POINT POLICE DEPARTMENT:

Regina Ann Bricker, age 60, residing at 120 Willoughby Ln., Cary, NC, was arrested on June 7, 2014 for DWI and aggravated DWI. Stony Point Police arrested the defendant subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop where it was determined that the operator, the above defendant, was operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and in excess of .16 % B.A.C. The defendant was arrested, processed and later released on $100 cash bail. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable on July 3, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.

 

 

resnickGRAND LARCENY, CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY & PETIT LARCENY
Aleta G. Resnick, age 42, residing at 11 Summit Trail, Monroe, NY, was arrested on June 6, 2014 for grand larceny in the fourth degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and petit larceny. It is alleged that the defendant, while a member of the S.W. Johnson Fire Department ladies auxiliary, did steal a credit card belonging to the ladies auxiliaries ShopRite house account on two separate occasions and utilized said card to charge and purchase $500 worth of groceries for her personal use. The defendant did this without permission or authority. The investigation led to the arrest of the above individual. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable July 15, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
A 17-year-old, residing at 11 Cedar Flats Rd., Stony Point, NY, was arrested on June 6, 2014 for unlawful possession of marijuana. The defendant was arrested following an investigation into a suspicious person. Subsequent to said investigation the defendant was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. The defendant was arrested and transported to Nyack Hospital as a result of impairment from an unknown substance. The defendant is due back at the Stony Point Court at a later date to be determined.
