Phillip E. Goldstein, managing partner of Goldstein Lieberman & Company LLC, announced last week that Brian Roerden has passed the demanding four part exam that is requisite to becoming a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
He joined Goldstein Lieberman & Company, the regionโs largest and fastest growing certified public accounting and business advisory firm in 2013 with the understanding that he would become a CPA at the Firm. Roerdenโs broad skills include areas of specific concentration including auditing and attestation, compilation and review, financial accounting and reporting and tax services. The range of industries and individuals he has assisted includes broad manufacturing, distribution companies, real estate, partnerships, construction companies, and high net worth individuals.
Following graduation from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration majoring in Accounting, Mr. Roerden fulfilled an internship in the accounting department of Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, New York. He was formerly a staff accountant with Nugent and Hauessler in Montgomery, New York. He prepared for his exam by taking courses from Phoenix University.
Formerly a resident of Warwick, New York, he is an avid Lacrosse player.
