3 People Injured in Explosion at Pomona Lab

POMONA – Three people were injured this afternoon in a chemical explosion at a pharmaceuticals lab in Pomona that led to Rockland County’s Hazardous Materials Team being called out to assist the victims, according to Rockland County officials.

One of the victims suffered burns from chemical exposure. Four firefighters went through decontamination procedures as a precaution.
