Spa worker accused of unwanted touching by teenage girl

Business under investigation

chenSTONY POINT – A worker at a Stony Point spa is being held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City on $50,000 bail in connection with what is described as inappropriate contact with a 17-year-old girl at the spa, according to Stony Point police.

Police said they are also investigating the So Good Foot Spa, 32 Liberty Drive, to determine whether the business has the appropriate license to operate in New York.

Shuang Chen, 41, of 140-75 Ash St., Flushing, Queens, was arrested Monday afternoon after Stony Point received a complaint from the father of a 17-year-old girl saying that his daughter was subjected to inappropriate contact at the spa. After an investigation and an interview with the girl, police said Chen was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, forcible touching, a misdemeanor, and practicing a profession without a license, which is also a felony.

Chen was arraigned in Stony Point Town Court and ordered held in the jail pending a hearing Thursday.
