SPRING VALLEY – Neighbors in a Spring Valley community are mourning the death of a 20-month-old boy who was fatally struck by a pickup truck near his family’s home Friday.
The accident happened in the parking lot at the Lottie Gardens apartment complex in Rose Avenue. Police say a silver pickup truck had just picked up two passengers before the 20-month-old Dominic Mero was struck by the front of the vehicle.
