The Dine to Donate and Celebrity Bake-Off Benefit Event Will Take Place on Friday, July 18th at Lynch’s Restaurant

Rockland County – Lynch’s Restaurant in Stony Point, NY will be hosting a Dine to Donate and Celebrity Bake-Off benefit event on Friday, July 18 for the Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation.  Lynch’s Restaurant will be donating 15% of the day’s proceeds to the HHH Foundation.  The Celebrity Bake-Off will begin at 6 and go until 8 p.m.

The much anticipated Celebrity Bake-Off will include local dignitaries and politicians such as Senator David Carlucci, Assemblymen Ken Zebrowski and James Skoufis, Supervisors Howard T. Phillips and Geoffrey Finn, Sheriff Lou Falco, County Clerk Paul Piperato, D.A. Tom Zugibe, Rockland County Shields President Robert Varieur, Director of Utilization at Helen Hayes Hospital Nancy Ferrato, Clarkstown Councilwoman Stephanie Hausner, Rockland County Legislator Michael Grant, and many more.  These local celebrities will be baking up delicious desserts for everyone in attendance with a wristband.  These wristbands will be available for purchase in advance for $10.

Kevin Lynch, owner of Lynch’s Restaurant, says Lynch’s and Helen Hayes Hospital serves the same community, that’s why he feels it is important to give back.

“My daughter has special needs,” said Kevin, “and Helen Hayes Hospital has been instrumental in her care.  It was only natural for us to come together to help raise awareness and needed funding for the great facility HHH is. We are so fortunate to have such a world class operation literally in our back yard.  Helping HHH helps all of us!”

As one of the country’s first physical rehabilitation facilities, Helen Hayes Hospital is widely recognized as a leader in physical rehabilitation medicine and research.  The hospital enables patients to move on to active and independent lives.

The Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation, Inc. seeks to advance the mission and strategic objectives of Helen Hayes Hospital through the development of resources and community awareness. This is accomplished through education, community relations, advocacy, networking, fund raising and public relations.
