Rockland County has issued a roadway disruption alert in the towns of Stony Point and Haverstraw for Tuesday, July 29 due to scheduled resurfacing of Thiells Rd. from Filors Ln. to Central Dr. and Suffern Ln. from Thiells Mt Ivy Rd. to Central Highway.
The road resurfacing will begin 7 a.m., weather permitting. Flagmen will be posted at intersections to assist the traveling public. Police advise motorists to exercise caution when driving in the area.
