As Nyack community members gather tonight for a planning session to help design the new skateboard park within Nyack’s Memorial Park, a state lawmaker is expected to announce a $100,000 state grant to help the project.
That funding would likely make plans for building the skateboard park in 2015 a reality.
State Sen. David Carlucci, D-New City, has previously said he had been seeking funds for the park project.
