Instructor Carolyn Travers taught the children to make their own simple robots using cardboard tubing, string, colored paper and glue at a Sloatsburg Library workshop recently. The participants learned that some complex robots are able to be programmed to walk, dance, play soccer plus explore the bottom of the sea or the rocky surface of Mars.
