STONY POINT POLICE DEPARTMENT ARRESTS 9/1/14

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, UNLAWFUL IMPRISONMENT & HARASSMENT
Kenneth Argenti, age 52, residing at 26 Route 210, Stony Point, NY, was arrested on August 30, 2014 for criminal mischief in the fourth degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree and harassment in the second degree. The defendant was arrested following an investigation into a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that the defendant did, after a verbal dispute, physically restrain the victim from leaving residence and did remove the victim’s cell phone to prevent her from contacting the police. The defendant was arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable September 23, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.  An Order of Protection was also issued by the court.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF & HARASSMENT
Robert Diaz, age 21, residing at 42 E. Main St., Stony Point, NY, and Anastazja Kurek, age 22, residing at 7 Phelps St., West Haverstraw, NY, were arrested on August 31, 2014 for criminal mischief. Defendant #2 was also arrested for harassment in the second degree. The defendants were arrested following an investigation into a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that both defendants did intentionally damage each other’s property. Defendants are boyfriend and girlfriend. It is alleged that Defendant #1 damaged his girlfriends’ cell phone and smashed out the windows on her vehicle with a bat. It is alleged that Defendant #2 broke the glass on her boyfriends’ front door and smashed the windshield of his vehicle with a lawn chair. In addition Defendant#2 did subject her boyfriend to physical contact during the course of said dispute, causing her to be charged with harassment. The defendants were arrested, processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable September 4, 2014 19 a.m. after each posted $500 cash bail.
