Sparaco wishes new Clarkstown Committee well

Legislator Frank Sparaco was gracious in defeat following Tuesday night’s GOP Committee election, which saw big victories for the slate of committeemen supported by Chairman Bob Axelrod.

Sparaco issued the following statement: “Congratulation to all the winners in yesterday’s Republican primary. I truly wish you all the best of luck at re-building the Republican Party and working towards making Clarkstown better. Campaigns are ugly and politics is a blood sport. The people have spoken and they’ve decided very clearly the direction going forward for the Republican Party. I have been on the front lines for many years and I look forward to taking a step back. I will do whatever is necessary to bring unity back to the party.”
