NYACK HOSPITAL OPENS NEW OUTPATIENT INFUSION CENTER

On September 15, 2014, a dedication ceremony was held for the new Infusion Center at Nyack Hospital which officially opened on Monday, October 6. The newly constructed facility houses 24 semi-private treatment areas in a peaceful and comforting environment. Patients are provided recliners for comfort, their own television; convenient seating for family members or friends, beverages, meals and light snacks, and free Wi-Fi. The Center also offers a separate entrance and dedicated valet parking.

Matthew Lonberg, M.D., of Hematology Oncology Associates of Rockland, a division of Highland Medical, P.C., and affiliate of Nyack Hospital said, “The new infusion center will help us to serve more individuals, while providing a relaxing environment that promotes privacy for our patients. As treatments can often take several hours, comfort is vital to the patient’s well being.”
