Pinto Road catastrophe narrowly averted

A 70-year-old woman was rushed to Nyack Hospital early Friday afternoon after a large tree limb crashed on her deck and caused her a head injury.

The woman was brushing leaves off of her covered deck when the incident occurred. Fortunately, the woman did not receive a direct hit from limb.

No reports on her condition have been made public. The event occurred on Pinto Rd. in Pearl River.
