Meals on Wheels Programs and Services of Rockland recently held their annual Harvest Moon Grand Reception. In addition to our deserving Honorees, this gala celebrated the 40th anniversary of Meals on Wheels In Rockland County. We would be remiss if we did not acknowledge all those who helped make this event successful and raise much needed funds to support the programs and services provided by Meals on Wheels. Thanks to our Honorees, Kevin Mahoney and Better Homes & Gardens Rand Realty, their dedication and commitment to the Rockland community and Meals on Wheels is truly impressive. The members of the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels play a huge role in the success of this event. We want to thank each member, especially the Chairman Stan Schwarz, for their time and support. Thanks to the volunteers of Meals on Wheels, we could not operate without them. Last, but not least, thank you to the Rockland Community for their continued support that has made it possible for Meals on Wheels to continue their services to the senior population of our county for 40 years. We look forward to continuing the work we do for seniors to help make their lives better for many years to come.
