Food Guru Intoxikate Joins Entertainment Goliath Empire City Casino to Create the “Ultimate” Holiday Kick Off Celebration

It’s hard to begrudge an early start to the holiday season when it kicks off with an event like this. Self-proclaimed foodies, and even the average glutton with a passion for great food and drink, will delight in this find – a holiday kick-off event being held this Friday, November 14 from 6 – 10 p.m. The event offers four hours of beer, wine and signature cocktails, two separate tasting sessions, dessert, dancing and bowling.

This is not your typical event of forks, corks and kegs. The first session is being held in Empire City Casino’s VIP Lounge from 6 – 8:30 p.m. where the gates of food heaven will open and attendees will gift their taste buds with the culinary creations of Executive Chef Guarav Navin. The hearty menu will include prawn Caesar shooters, butternut squash bisque with truffle squash chutney, roasted tomato and asparagus arancini, herb gremolata crusted lamb chops, braised beef crisps, au gratin fennel and scallops in shell, spice and coffee rubbed pork tenderloin with Bailey’s Irish Cream drizzle, Italian charcuterie meat antipasto, and so much more. The “Holiday Crush” made with Southern Comfort Cherry, will highlight as the signature cocktail.

The night only gets sweeter as the party moves to Alley 810 for a second session from 8:30 – 10 p.m. where guests can bowl on the retro bowling lanes and dance to the beats of DJ Prime while enjoying sweet bites prepared by Executive Chef Fabienne Eymard, including a live action banana foster station, Florentine biscuit with candied fruits, nuts and chocolate, crème brulee, strawberry shortcake, a pie extravaganza with pumpkin, pecan, chocolate raspberry, and lemon meringue, along with cupcakes, tartlets and more. The Pumpkin Beer Float with Homemade Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream will serve as the signature cocktail.
