DESANTIS THE DANGEROUS

Clarkstown, NY – On Monday, November 10, 2014 at approximately 8:08 a.m. State Police responded to the Exit 14 off ramp on Interstate 87 for a report of a fight in progress. When Troopers arrived they located a 52-year-old male who had reported being the victim of an assault by another motorist, who had fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. Witnesses at the scene were able to give police a description of the suspect and the license plate of the vehicle he was driving. The suspect was identified as David E. Desantis, 42, of Warwick, NY. Desantis voluntarily surrendered himself to Troopers at SP Tarrytown where he was charged with assault in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor, and criminal obstruction of breathing, a class A misdemeanor.
