A Clarkstown woman found herself arrested on DWI charges after getting out of her car and walking down the street in an unusual manner.
Clarkstown Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the location of Meriweather Trail in Congers around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16. Suspect, Nancy Sheridan, 51-years-old, from Congers was observed walking in the roadway near her vehicle and police determined that she was exhibiting signs of intoxication. Sheridan failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for suspicion of DWI as a felony due to a prior conviction.
She was also charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Sheridan was arraigned before Hon. Craig Johns at Clarkstown Justice Court with bail set at $5,000.
