NEW CITY ROTARY DONATES $7,000 TO LOCAL FOOD BANKS

In its efforts to combat hunger in the community, the Rotary Club of New City recently donated the proceeds of its fall Wine & Food fundraiser to two organizations that provide assistance to struggling Rocklanders facing difficult times. People to People, which provides assistance to nearly 14,000 households, was the recipient of a $5,000 donation from the Rotary Club. In addition, Meals on Wheels, which delivers meals to 700 people throughout the year, received a donation of $2,000.
