17-year-old motorcyclist killed Friday night on S. Pascack Rd.

Richard Quezada, 17, of Chestnut Ridge was killed while riding a motorcycle Friday night.

Ramapo PD said Quezada’s 2005 Honda motorcycle collided with a 2005 Nissan Maxima on South Pascack Rd. just north of Watermill Rd. The Maxima was driven by 32-year-old Websner Mathieu of Nanuet, who suffered minor injuries and was not issued a summons.

After hearing word of the tragedy, a group of 20 or so Ramapo High Schoool students gathered around the crash site, many wailing in grief.

Rockland County Paramedics and Faist Ambulance were the first to respond to the scene followed by Ramapo PD.

The Ramapo Accident Investigation Unit responded to the scene and is still actively investigating the tragic crash.
