Rockland County Police Welcome Home Wounded NYPD Officer

STONY POINT – Local police officers from Rockland County today welcomed home one of the two police officers who was wounded in a Bronx gun battle.

Officers from the Stony Point Police Department were joined by other officers, including members of the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department, in greeting Police Officer Andrew Dossi, 30, of Stony Point.

Dossi was wounded in a Jan. 5 incident in which another NYPD officer from Rockland County, Aliro Pellerano, 38, of Garnerville, was also wounded.
