PRESS RELEASE
Diners in Rockland County will now be treated to a brand new concept as BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse has opened its first location in New York State and the Northeast region, right here in Rockland County at The Shops at Nanuet. The 8,215 square-foot restaurant is located near Fashion Drive, on the corner near P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse claims to be the place to go when looking for craft beer, delicious pizza selections and an extensive menu of high quality food – all in a fun, casual, child-friendly and accommodating setting. In operation since 1978, the company began serving deep dish pizza in Santa Ana, California and the success spurred restaurant openings in beach cities along Southern California’s coastline. In 1996, the first BJ’s brewery began production in its restaurant in Brea, California and after being enthusiastically received by customers, the restaurant was renamed BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse.
“We are pleased to welcome BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse to our increasingly popular retail lineup at The Shops at Nanuet,” said Briana Puncar, director of marketing and business development for The Shops at Nanuet. “We expect that its tantalizing menu and beverage offerings and fun, casual atmosphere will be well-received by our shoppers. It is a special designation to be the restaurant’s first location in New York and a testament to the great shopping, dining and entertainment found here in our open-air center.”
