Second Annual Team O’Grady Night Raises $11K for Alzheimer’s

PEARL RIVER- Luigi O’Grady’s Deli in Pearl River hosted their second annual fundraiser to raise 11K for Alzheimer’s Association at Emmett’s Castle on Saturday, March 24.

The event is named A Night Out with Team O’Grady and it has special meaning for the Luigi O’Grady family.  Team O’Grady was started in honor of their father, John O’Grady, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in March of 2009. He passed away from the disease four years later on his birthday on March 29, 2013.

Siobhan O’Grady, his daughter explained, “We stated Team O’Grady in 2011 to give back to the Alzheimer’s Association for all they had done for our family.”
