OPERATION LOOK OVER YOUR SHOULDER WARRANT SWEEP MAY 2015

The R.C. Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the NY State Police, NY State Parole, the Department of Homeland Security, Stony Point Police Department, Town of Haverstraw Police Department, and the Rockland Intelligence Center on May 20, 2015 successfully launched Phase 1of “Operation Look Over Your Shoulder.” This was a coordinated law enforcement operation that executed outstanding warrants issued by County, Town and Village Courts in Rockland County.

Fifty (50) warrants were prepared for execution on this day and resulted in19 arrests. Additionally, four more subjects either turned themselves in, or were arrested in other jurisdictions, bringing the total number of executed warrants to 23. The subjects on the below list were arrested.

This collaborative effort between the participating law enforcement agencies contributed greatly to the success of the operation.

Phase 2 of the Operation will be launched shortly. “If you want to avoid being arrested at home or at work, you are advised to turn yourself in to a local or State Police station or to the Sheriff’s Office,” Sheriff Falco said.
