TOWN OF HAVERSTRAW AIRSHOW MARKS SIX YEARS

The sixth annual Town of Haverstraw Air Show was held this past Saturday at the Scenic Hudson Riverview Park off of Beach Road. Organizers called it a big success with several hundred people attending, refreshments courtesy of the Town of Haverstraw and several hundred dollars raised for the Wounded Warriors Project. 

Flight demos went on throughout the day and interested flyers were given lessons by experienced flyers on buddy boxes. Club President Bruce Leach and the Hudson Valley Radio Control Club (HVRCC) coordinated the day’s events. Sponsors were the Haverstraw Town Board along with Corporate Sponsors United Water New York and Cambridge Security Seals.
