Meet the Candidates Night to be Hosted by North Rockland Chamber of Commerce

The North Rockland Chamber of Commerce will host a Meet the Candidates evening on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Rockland Community College Haverstraw Extension, from 6 – 8:30 p.m.

This year, the Chamber will focus on candidates and incumbents running for the Rockland County Legislature. Confirmed attendees that are running (in alphabetical order) are:

Rockland County Legislature:

• Kevin Brestolli – District 3
• Jay Hood – District 3
• Michael Grant – District 2
• PT Thomas – District 2

Town of Supervisor Howard Phillips, as well as mayors from the Villages of West Haverstraw and Haverstraw have also been invited to this event to say a few words, despite facing no opposition this year. The questions will be provided by audience members and those who write in advance; we will have an impartial moderator preside over the event to provide a spirit of bipartisanship. Please contact the North Rockland Chamber at: 845-947-JOIN (5646) to confirm whether you will attend.
