The longtime coordinator of marketing and public affairs for Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, Deborah Marshall, has received a promotion within the burgeoning Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), an initiative that recently integrated Westchester Medical Center with Good Samaritan Hospital and other institutions.
Marshall has been promoted to the position of vice president of planning and strategic initiatives for WMCHealth effective December 1, 2015. In her new role, Marshall will be working to help guide the growth and improvement of the new network. Marshall has been part of Bon Secours Charity for over 13 years. During her tenure she led marketing, communication and public relation campaigns.
She was actively involved with the development and implementation of the cardiac care initiatives at Good Samaritan Hospital. She also coordinated an effort to secure Interim Access Assurance Fund funding from the New York State Department of Health along with DSRIP funding.
Marshall has been a fixture in the Rockland business and philanthropic community. Dr. Mary Leahy, CEO of Bon Secours told staff at Good Samaritan, “She has helped us to accomplish many of our goals and has worked with us during a period of transition. We are appreciative for her many contributions and her dedication to our mission and values. Please join me in wishing Deborah many blessings and gratitude as she moves into this new position.”
