Rose Memorial Library to Hold Two Fundraisers

Stony Point’s Rose Memorial Library will hold two events next week to raise funds and to celebrate the re-opening of the library’s Children’s Room, which had been temporarily closed due to a flood.  Both Facebook event pages will have up to date information.

1.) Fundraiser at Lynch’s, December 3, 7 p.m.- the library will host a number of local celebrity bar tenders including Supervisor Jim Monaghan, Skatepark enthusiast Mike Ehlers, several NRHS sports coaches, and more, and special guests including local comedienne Kerri Cotter.

2.) An all day event on Saturday, December 5 featuring the grand re-opening celebration for the Children’s Room. Festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m., Hot-Diggity-Dog with Miss Debbie at 10:30 a.m., Silly Songs for Kids with Mr. Kurt at 3 p.m. and more!
