POMONA MAN ACCUSED OF HOME BURGLARY AND THEFT

On January 6, 2015, the Stony Point Police Department arrested George Green of Pomona on second degree burglary charges and third degree grand larceny charges following an investigation by the Stony Point Police Detective Bureau into the burglary of a residence in Stony Point that occurred January 1, 2016. 

The defendant was arrested with the assistance of the Town of Haverstraw Police and the Rockland County Intelligence Ctr . after a brief foot pursuit. The Stony Point Police were also assisted in the investigation by the Rockland County Sheriff’s B.C.I. Unit.  

The defendant was processed then arraigned in Stony Point Justice Court.
