NYACK – Two Nyack men have been charged with robbery for forcibly stealing numerous packs of cigarettes from a Nyack convenience store, according to Orangetown police.
Police said Andy Tassy, 43, and Laron Musgrove, 32, both of Nyack, were arrested at 4:54 a.m. today, charged with second-degree robbery, a felony, and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
The men, police said, used force when they stole the cigarettes at a Nyack store.
Tassy and Musgrove were arrested and taken to Orangetown Police Headquarters in Orangeburg and were later arraigned in Nyack Village Court. They were each ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City on $10,000 bail pending a village court hearing.
