North Rockland HS Red Carpet for Veterans

On March 10, 2016 North Rockland High School laid out the red carpet for local Veterans by honoring them with a special dinner

The event was sponsored by the Key Club and Junior ROTC with guidance from their teachers. The veterans were able to bring a guest and enjoy a selection of culinary treats, including a sheet cake thanking them for their service.

The vets really enjoyed the event. They were able to swap memories and discuss shared experiences with each other. The camaraderie was evident during this special occasion.

The students and teachers waited and served on the vets all night long to show their gratitude to the men and women who have served our country.
