Eastern Star leads Stony Point ladies toward charity

Stony Point Chapter #540, Order of the Eastern Star recently donated to People to People, Inc. of Rockland County in excess of 475 pounds of food supplies, valued at $1,335 plus a check representing cash donations.

The charitable donation was inspired by Gabriella, nickname “Ella,” a young lady who attended an Eastern Star family gathering and became interested in the group’s focus on charity. Thanks to her enthusiasm a food drive commenced for the People to People food bank.
