Grace Vanderwaal to Fill Historic Lafayette Theater with her Angelic Voice

Rockland’s national breakout sensation, Grace Vanderwaal, will take center stage for a free concert at the Lafayette Theater Saturday, July 30 at 5:30 p.m.

Grace is a 12-year-old resident of Suffern, NY and has captured hearts worldwide as she auditioned on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in early June. The young singer and ukulele player gained over 60 million views of her audition within two days of it airing

Grace will perform again on “America’s Got Talent” during the live shows where she will compete for the votes of viewers.

Grace has been a musical wunderkind, her passion for singing and performing beginning at the tender age of 3 when she created her own songs for her family.

“America’s Got Talent” judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel quickly picked up on her talents calling her “the next Taylor Swift” and “a walking beautiful miracle” in front of millions of viewers. Interviews with Rolling Stone magazine and accolades from celebrities including Justin Bieber, Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher added to the viral social media craze that has catapulted her into international stardom. Grace has multiple musical talents including song writing, alto saxophone and a little piano.

The Lafayette Theater would like to invite the entire community and any and all Grace Vanderwaal fans to come together for this special free concert in support of our Suffern native. In addition to a two set performance, the event includes an exclusive Q&A with Grace.

Free concert tickets are available at the Lafayette Theater box office located at 97 Lafayette Avenue in Suffern, NY during box office hours. Monday-Friday 6:30-8 p.m., Sat/Sun 1:30-8 p.m.
