EVERY CHILD NEEDS A BACKPACK!

Can you imagine going to school and not being prepared and kids making fun of you because your parents couldn’t afford supplies, new sneakers, shoes or even clothes. To help children in need donate to the Village of Haverstraw’s annual Backpack of Success drive.

The drive’s goal is 2,000 backpacks.

Drop-off locations have been set up throughout Rockland County:
In the County Offices, Sheriff Office, Town Hall of Haverstraw, Town Hall of Stony Point, Office of Emily Dominguez, Office of Ivonne Ifill in Garnerville.

Distributions of backpacks will be done on Sunday, August 28 at EMELINE PARK. Late Lunch and distribution of backpacks begins at 3 p.m.

The average backpack costs $20. Monetary donations are welcome and are tax deductible. Checks can be made payable to:
