Harris Named Can-Am Player of the Month

Rockland Boulders outfielder Devin Harris was named the Can-Am Leagueโ€™s Player of the Month for July, as announced by Pointstreak, the leagueโ€™s statisticianย on Wednesdayย afternoon. This is the first monthly award for the Boulders and the second league honor for Harris this season.

In his first month with the team, Harris hit an impressive .338 with four home runs and team-best 25 runs batted in in 23 games. He also slugged a robust .600 during July, along with a .400 on-base percentage. Of his 27 hits in those 23 games, the 6โ€™4โ€ outfielder recorded 12 extra-base hits and had eight multi-hit games.

Harris was also named the leagueโ€™s Player of the Week on July 18ย after a torrid pace that included 11 RBI in six games. Despite not yet qualifying for the league leaders, Harris is tops on the team in slugging percentage and also ranks second in batting average, fifth in homers and sixth in RBI.
