Pilgrim Pipelines Meeting September 22

Scenic Hudson, RiverKeeper, and partners will be presenting information about the alleged threat the Pilgrim Pipelines poses to local communities. The presentation will take place Thursday September 22, 6:30 p.m. at Rockland Community College.

The two proposed pipelines comprising the Pilgrim project would carry up to 400,000 gallons of petroleum a day between Linden, NJ, and Albany, NY and would cut through Rockland and Orange counties, bisecting neighborhoods, parks and open space, and prime drinking water sources. After the presentation there will be a “Take Action” session to share steps opponents can take to halt the project.
