Village of Suffern Mayor Ed Markunas and the Village Board invite the public to congratulate and celebrate resident Grace VanderWaal, the winner of the 2016 America’s Got Talent Contest at a Hometown Parade on Saturday, October 1, 2016. The parade will start at 5 p.m. at the beginning of Lafayette Avenue, and continue to Washington Avenue, where a ceremony honoring Grace will take place. Parking will be available in the Village of Suffern, but all are encouraged to ride share, or walk into the village if local.
VanderWaal’s success is predicted to be more than fleeting. She has already been signed to a record contract by the company of AGT judge Simon Cowell.
