Jewish adherents of all ages marked the holiday of Sukkot this week. Pictured here are two observers of different ages in Wesley hills. The reason they are in a small booth-like dwelling is in Biblical times farmers would live in such structures during harvest season. Sukkot marks both the fall harvest and celebrates the end of the Jews’ 40-year exodus in the desert after escaping slavery in Egypt.
