§  That God protects the weak and vulnerable members of society

§  For comfort and guidance for those who are stressed

§  For peace and reconciliation between people with different political views

§  For peace and reconciliation between people of all cultures and races

§  That Christians be the light in the world

§  For God’s guidance and involvement in the governance of the country

§  For America’s relationship with the world

§  For wisdom for people in choosing for whom to vote

§  For Christians to remember that our ultimate hope is in Christ
