Empire City Casino Pulls Out All the Stops for New Year’s Eve

Empire City is offering everything from trackside dinner with live entertainment and a champagne toast, to a high-energy dance party capped off with a midnight balloon drop.

Options abound for revelers with four bands performing live throughout the casino’s multiple venues, as well as a DJ and bowling. The party will continue until 6 a.m., but for those looking to stay overnight, the Hampton Inn & Suites Yonkers – Westchester offers guests a free shuttle service to and from the casino (must be booked in advance and is based on availability). Gamers will enjoy bringing in the New Year with Lady Luck by trying a hand on the new hi-tech blackjack and 3-card poker machines or any of the other 5,300 games that make up one of the largest casino floors in the country.

Those looking for a unique place to spend the last night of 2016 can enjoy an elegant dinner overlooking the Yonkers Raceway at the Empire Terrace Restaurant. The Terrace is featuring a plated dinner including tomato and baby mozzarella salad, and entrée choice of lemon & herb salmon drizzled with beurre blanc or roast New York strip topped with demi glaze, and a chocolate mousse cake with macerated berries and whipped cream.

Dinner includes a musical performance from The Gus Hayes Band. Early seating at 5 p.m. is available to Empire Club Members for $59.95 and Non-Members for $69.95. The 9 p.m. seating is $79.95 for Empire Club Members, $89.95 for Non-Members and includes a complimentary glass of champagne for a midnight toast.

The Good Time Room will feature an extensive dinner buffet along with dance and music by The Bobby Lynch Orchestra, with entertainment beginning at 9 p.m.. Tickets are $150 per person and includes an elaborate seafood display on ice sculptures, a variety of hearty salads, an international cheese and charcuterie selection, seafood paella, loads of pastas, meats, chickens and vegetables and a carving station featuring pork loin and New York strip, as well as a pastry-filled and berry-lined Viennese table, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

For just a $15 cover which includes one free drink ticket, head straight to the dance floor in the Entertainment Lounge and boogie with New York’s most respected and requested party band,FDR Drive Band, from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. Enjoy front row seats to the stage and the midnight balloon drop by reserving bottle service ($150 table minimum).

For those who want to bowl the night away, Empire’s Alley 810 features a high-end mixology lounge with two vintage bowling lanes where visitors can enjoy cocktails and bottle service ($150 table minimum) while listening to DJ LAX spin the beats all night long.
