On Thursday, January 19, Nyack Mayor Jen White and staff members from the offices of Congresswoman Nita Lowey and Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee participated in a tour of the newly opened HRHCare Community Health Center, located at 84 North Highland Avenue in Nyack. Led by HRHCare President and CEO Anne Kauffman Nolon, the tour gave the Mayor and other guests a chance to see the state-of-the-art facility and learn more about the high-quality primary and preventive health services for which HRHCare is known. The Nyack location is also the very first HRHCare health center to integrate Urgent Care, offering x-ray and lab services, specialist referrals, and treatment for fever, flu, mono, strep throat, and more.
โItโs a huge community benefit to have you here in Nyack,โ said Jen White, Mayor of Nyack. โAll that HRHCare is offering here is so impressive. We will be sending more people through your doors!โ
โThis state-of-the-art health center is providing Nyack residents with the convenience of Urgent Care and additional primary care services under one roof,โ said Anne Kauffman Nolon, MPH, President and CEO of HRHCare. โOur thanks to Mayor White, Congresswoman Lowey, and Assemblywoman Jaffee for partnering with us to keep Nyack in good health by facilitating access to high-quality care for all.โ
HRHCare has been a presence in Rockland County for the past 10 years, with health centers opening in Haverstraw and Spring Valley in 2007 and 2011 respectively. The Nyack location is the 28th in a community health network stretching across the Hudson Valley and Long Island.
