BOCES STUDENTS MEET WITH UNDERSHERIFF

Rockland BOCES Criminal Justice students met this week with Rockland County Undersheriff Robert Van Cura for a lesson on active shooter tactics, law enforcement response and local counterterrorism efforts. The BOCES program is designed to provide a broad-based introduction to criminal justice and correctional systems, as well as provide training in specialized fields including law enforcement, the court system and correctional facilities. Thanks to Undersheriff Van Cura for sharing his 35 years of expertise with local high school students! Rockland BOCES Career and Technical Education programs provide students with a pathway to college or a career leading to meaningful employment.
