A reprise of the play “A Clean Shoot” about a fatal police officer shooting that producers claim led to racial profiling by police is set for Friday, February 3 at 8 p.m. at Shades Repertory Theatre in Haverstraw. It will be a benefit for the Martin Luther King Jr. multipurpose center in Spring Valley. The play’s producers, the Afro-American community group, have filed a legal action against the Town of Clarkstown, its police chief and former town intelligence director Stephen Cole-Hatchard alleging that a flier advertising the play “A Clean Shoot” was generated on a report and was racial profiling.
