PRESS RELEASE– The Women’s Enterprise Development Center Inc. is offering its Comprehensive 60 Hour Entrepreneurial Training Course for the first time in Rockland County. The course will be held at the Sufffern Village Hall meeting on Tuesdays from 6-9 p.m. The program launches February 28.
The course covers all of the essential components of starting and operating a small business including legal , insurance, personal and business finances, cash flow and financial statements, market research, social media, websites, marketing objectives, competition and SWOT analysis, and management. Course attendees write a business plan and present that plan to a panel comprised of successful business owners, bankers and government officials.
WEDC’s programs are heavily subsidized and therefore the fee for the course, which runs 20 weeks, is only $300.
