THREE STUDENTS “SUPERVISOR FOR A DAY” IN CLARKSTOWN

For the first time ever, last week three local students were named “Supervisor for the Day” in the Town of Clarkstown. William Holving, Jack Opida and Naomi Grillo won the town’s 225th anniversary essay contest and were given the opportunity to meet with Supervisor George Hoehmann and many other town officials to see what it’s like to be Supervisor of the Town of Clarkstown. The students also met County Executive Ed Day and toured the Clarkstown Police Department and Justice Court. Official Town Supervisor George Hoehmann said, “Thank you to all who helped make this a great educational day for the students. And congratulations to William, Jack and Naomi.”
