Trustee Position for the Pearl River Public Library Board of Trustees

 PRESS RELEASE– The Board of Trustees of the Pearl River Public Library announces that the annual Budget Vote and Trustee Election is scheduled to be held at the Pearl River Public Library on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.  There will be a Budget Hearing on Tuesday, May 30 at 7:15 p.m.

The Pearl River Public Library Board of Trustees has announced that one Trustee position will be on the election ballot scheduled for June 6, 2017.  The position is a five-year term beginning July 1, 2017. Incumbent Dr. Elizabeth Van Wynen, has indicated that she will be seeking reelection.

Individuals interested in running for membership on the Pearl River Public Library Board of Trustees must submit a petition signed by 25 or more qualified voters of the Pearl River Public Library District (coterminous with the Pearl River Union Free School District).  Petitions will be available on or after April 4 at the Pearl River Public Library, 80 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, New York and must be submitted to the Pearl River Public Library Board Clerk by 5 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017.
