Suffern’s Grace VanderWaal returned home Sunday for a concert.
VanderWaal, who won “America’s Got Talent” last summer, performed at Ramapo High School in a benefit for Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. More than 600 attended the concert during which she sang original and cover songs.
The benefit raised money for “Butterflies,” a program at Valley that helps families caring for children with life-threatening or life-limiting injuries.
