STONY POINT – The cops received a call about a man in medical distress around 10 p.m., Thursday, June 1. Soon after a similar call came in; this one about a man who looked to be unconscious at the gas station on the corner of W. Main St. and Rt. 9W.
Upon arriving at the gas station, a dazed Kyle Duddy was found in his car. The 30-year-old man refused medical attention.
Upon searching his vehicle, police say they found 17 decks of heroin and a small amount of cocaine. Duddy has been charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree (misdemeanor).
He was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in court on July 18.
Police listed Duddy as a Goshen resident, but he has lived in Stony Point in recent years, as well.
