Rockland Symphony Orchestra’s Annual Chamber Music Concert is set for June 25 at 4 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in Nyack. Guest artist will be pianist Ron Levy, who has played all over the world. Music by Haydn, Schumann and Bach will be performed. Information at rocklandsymphonyorchestra.org.

Nyack Arts Walk celebrates and honors veterans of the United States Armed Forces at the Nyack Arts Walk 2017 Festival, Saturday, June 17, at noon in Veterans Park. Chair Paulette Ross says there will be an unveiling and dedication of a piece created by Vietnam veteran Walt Nygard, an artwork named Combat Paper, made from transformed military uniforms. Shades Repertory Theatre in Haverstraw is in its final performance at the Central Presbyterian Church before moving to the Garner Arts Center. The show is set for June 24 at 8 p.m. One-act plays, including Night Vision, Final Hour, We, Creatures of the Wind, and The Gypsy Wife from Taming of the Shrew, are included.

Recovering The Past, a reading of “Eyes Forward” by Philip Gerson, is on for Monday, June 12 at 7 p.m. at Penguin Repertory Theatre, Cricketown Road, Stony Point. In this new play, an American travels to Germany with his aged father to recover a precious painting of his grandmother lost when the Nazi party rose to power. The current owner of the painting refuses to part with it, reviving old animosities and potent memories. Information at penguinrep.org.
